Canadian company, Lululemon, just make a huge announcement. They are taking us from “work out” to “workwear.” The popular brand just opened its first American Lululemon Lab in NYC this week. The new store is located on 50 Bond Street and will consist of mostly a black, gray and white color scheme for your work wardrobe, according to The Cut. Workwear is very important as it shows off what the image of the company you work for is all about, there are companies like PPE Supplies Direct that can make and personalize your workwear so you look professional at all times. Most employers will allow you to wear whatever you wish to work, but in others, specific types of uniforms may be compulsory. For example, you may be asked to wear a polo shirt with an embroidery logo of your company on it to make sure that you represent the business through your outfit. And in some cases, this could be important for a particular type of company. Just make sure that if your workwear is personalized with a company name or logo that you never dispose of it yourself. You don’t want it getting into the wrong hands as someone could use it to commit fraud. Instead, find Uniform destruction services that will destroy any old and unwanted branded workwear or uniforms properly.
The Lab NYC has a commute friendly work to play vibe for our busy New Yorkers. Each Lab store will carry designs that cater to their specific location. The catch, the designs are only available at that store and cannot be ordered online.
While Lululemon is by far one of our favorite brands, we are ecstatic for this news and have our fingers crossed for an LA store. We hear it may already be in the works! If that is true, they should look at getting themselves a kassensysteme (Kiosk), they can make the store more interactive for a range of customers.
