“I had aspiring dreams to be a fashion stylist and always documented the latest trends in a ‘fashion notebook’ that I carried around whenever I was feeling inspired.”

From being known for her cute coffee cups to creating her own app on iTunes, Grace Lee created Gracefullee Made just 4 years ago to document her personal style and to share her thoughts. Gracefullee Made has allowed her to step outside of her comfort zone by being able to inspire others and herself.

What/Who Inspired You To Blog?

“I was always interested in fashion since high school. I had aspiring dreams to be a fashion stylist and always documented the latest trends in a ‘fashion notebook’ that I carried around whenever I was feeling inspired. My family and friends have been supportive of my journey every step of the way. They have definitely inspired me to keep pursuing my dreams.”

Tell Us The Story Behind the Gracefullee Made Name?

“My blog used to be called something else when I started. It’s actually a little too embarrassing to say (ha!). But Gracefullee Made was chosen because my name is Grace Lee, and one of my high school friends would call me ‘Gracefullee’ and it had a nice ring to it. Side note: Gracefullee Made is also available to download as an APP on iTunes! Feel free to download it to keep up with my posts!”

Grace’s Favorite Stores?

Her Favorite Local Restaurants?

“I live in a college town (Chapel Hill, NC) and there are tons of yummy restaurants up and down Franklin St. If I’m craving salads, I’ll visit Spanky’s. TOPO is a popular restaurant and literally means ‘Top Of The Hill’ because it’s located in the middle of Franklin St. My personal favorite is Tru, which is a deli + wine place. You create your own wraps or sandwiches, and I go there more often than I can care to admit. Ye Olde Waffle Shoppe is a great place for a weekend brunch. Their waffles are SO GOOD.”

“The story behind that is, I am a write-it-down kind-of-girl.”

If You Could Travel Anywhere Where Would You Go?

“Whenever I get this kind of question, I usually opt for Paris, France. It’s the City of Lights, after all and I have always wanted to go to Europe. But I would love to travel to New Zealand. I am a sucker for beautiful scenery, and that sort of trip would be spectacular.”

…But Those Adorable Cup? Tell Me?!

“Haha, I’m so happy that people enjoy those!! The story behind that is, I am a write-it-down kind-of-girl. Anything and everything that is on my mind, I jot it down. So whenever I’m feeling down or need a pick-me-up, I think of funny sayings or Pinterest quotes and write them on my to-go coffee cups. It really does serve its purpose because either A) it makes me smile and B) it makes people smile and C) I have so much fun decorating them! True story: someone actually asked me if I was selling the cups, and that actually sounds like a good idea! A little bang for my buck – haha!”

Grace’s Advice To New Bloggers?

“Blogging takes time. It really does. Don’t expect your blog stats, numbers, followers, etc. to grow overnight. The most successful bloggers all started from the bottom and worked their way to the top. Success isn’t handed to you. You have to work for it. Blogging is a journey and with every step, you will grow. Patience is never my strong suit, so this is something that even I struggle with. But the important thing to remember is that if you continue to keep doing what you love, the results will show in the end. Be yourself, be original, and as I mentioned in this post (here), be REAL.”
