Fall Classic Closet Must Haves By Thoughtfully Styled
We are all about classics! We believe they’re so important in a wardrobe that we’ve come up with a list of must-haves for the fall. All of these pieces are worth investing in. They will be in style for years to come and are so incredibly versatile. You will have no trouble finding many ways to wear each piece.
Drumroll please… Here’s the list!
Of course the Burberry Trench is a swoon-worthy iconic piece but not one we are quite willing to splurge on just yet. There are lots of similar trenches that get the job done just as well.
THE RIDING BOOT
A nice riding boot will last forever! We happen to be fans of Frye because we know ours have lasted for years. Not only are they still in good shape, they’re also still very much on trend, which is a great feeling when you pay a significant amount for them.
THE STRAIGHT JEAN
This jean is the flattering to all body types. The clean silhouette and dark color make it a staple.
THE WRAP DRESS
The Wrap Dress has been wildly popular since the 70s when Diane von Furstenberg created the jersey wrap dress. Look for a dress that is solid in color or has a small print as it will be stylish longer. The wrap dress truly flatters all shapes and will no doubt remain a staple for years.
THE WHITE SHIRT
This shirt can be dressed up, dressed down, worn alone, with layers…and the list goes on! All wardrobes need this shirt.
THE LITTLE BLACK DRESS
A good black dress can take you from the desk to dinner and back again. Look for classic cuts and little to no embellishment and it will last you a long time.
THE NUDE PUMP
This shoe goes with everything. Seriously. Everything. Dresses, jeans, trousers and everything in between! Do yourself a favor and get a pair.
THE COGNAC CROSSBODY
This bag goes with all colors in your wardrobe ~ with the exception of red! It’s a must have.
THE BLACK FLAT
A classic flat is always in style. Look for a shoe with no bells and whistles, keeping it more classic.
THE TARTAN SCARF
Fall means scarves and the tartan print is the go-to when choosing a staple.
Is there anything y’all would add? We’d love to hear from you!
