Even the healthiest crave a delicious Mexican dish. One of my favorite splurges is chips, salsa, guacamole and sour cream. By splurge, I mean chips and sour cream. While shopping at Sprouts the other day, I was trying to figure out a healthier alternative for my not so healthy cravings. Then it hit me, I’ll trade in the sour cream for yogurt and find a healthier chip alternative.

Food Should Taste Good has literally the best multigrain tortilla chips that are made with quinoa, sunflower seeds and flax…my favorite. I also purchased Mountain High lowfat plain yogurt as a sour cream alternative (which I can use for my breakfast smoothies – also high in protein!). Yogurt Sour Cream Alternative
2 cup Mountain High Lowfat Yogurt
2 tbs Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
Turmeric to taste
Garnish with Cilantro

2 Avocados
1/2 Onion chopped
1 Tomato chopped
Sea Salt & Pepper to taste
Turmeric to taste
